Jacob recently graduated with a B.S. in Information Technology with a concentration in Cybersecurity from Middle Georgia State University. An avid CTF enthusiast, Jacob loves to learn by doing.
Jacob is currently pursuing a M.S. in Cybersecurity from Georgia Tech and holds EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA) certifications.
Jacob currently works as a Cyber Engineer at Mercer Engineering Research Center, where he performs penetration tests and works to engineer solutions to vulnerabilities.
Jacob holds an impressive NCL resume, having participated in four seasons of NCL, he has placed in the top 10 individually and top 15 in teams. One of his favorite things to do each season is find a new way to automate a process using Python. In the hacker world, he’s known for two things: his signature ‘stache and his love of Python. When he’s not hacking away at a project or writing a new security tool, he enjoys the outdoors and sports.
